Guides and Care
Garment Care
By carefully washing your clothes, you not only extend their lifespan but also help reduce environmental impact and protect natural resources. The washing instructions on the label indicate the specific care required for each item. Below, you will also find some useful tips.
Details
Remove detachable details and fasten Velcro and zippers before washing. Wash nylon tights and delicate items with details in a dedicated laundry bag.
Chunky Knits
Chunky knits should be reshaped and dried flat to maintain their original shape. For this reason, these items often have the instruction “Dry flat” on their label.
Linen
Linen is a natural material that can easily lose its shape when wet. To restore the garment's original shape, iron it with a hot steam iron. To maintain the fabric's shine, always iron inside out.
Viscose
Viscose is an artificial fibre made from cellulose and can lose its shape when wet. To restore the garment's original shape, iron it with a steam iron.
Silk
Silk is a very delicate material and should be handled with care. Use a delicate laundry detergent and avoid stretching the garment while it is wet.
Wool
Often, simply airing a wool item is enough to freshen it up. When washing is necessary, use a delicate laundry detergent and choose the wool or hand wash cycle on the machine. You can also hand wash. After washing, iron the garment to restore its original shine.
Denim
Wash denim inside out to reduce fading. Remove them from the machine as soon as the cycle finishes to prevent wrinkling. The characteristic appearance of denim results from a special dyeing method. Small pigment particles may remain on the fabric's surface and transfer colour to other garments.
